Region 15

16 Vincent Warren (3-7) at 1 Bloom Carroll (10-0)

Bloom Carroll has been one of if not the most elite Division IV team in the area beating teams week after week with relative ease.

The Bulldogs' defense has only allowed 58 points all season and has only allowed more than seven points in a game twice this season.

Past this first-round matchup, Bloom Carroll certainly has the potential to reach far into the playoffs within this region and beyond.

15 Licking Valley (2-7) at 2 St. Clairsville (9-1)

Licking Valley started the season with an impressive Week 2 win against London.

Since then, however, the Panthers have struggled to gain much of a footing only winning one more game.

Now that they have reached the playoffs in this expanded format, Licking Valley has been given a chance to pull off an upset, but they will have their work cut out for them against a St. Clairsville team that has averaged 41 points per game this season.

13 Gallipolis Gallia Academy (4-3) at 4 Heath (8-2)

Heath had just two losses this season against Granville and Zanesville in back-to- back weeks.

Besides those losses, though, the Bulldogs have been nothing but impressive disposing of playoff teams like Newark Catholic and Liberty Union.

Heath is coming off an LCC-Cardinal victory, so they will have energy and momentum in this home postseason matchup.

9 Linden McKinley (8-2) at 8 Highland (7-3)

Linden McKinely is having its best season in years going undefeated at home and winning the City League-North.

With an average point-differential of 22 points, the Panthers will look to go far in the postseason but will have no easy competition on the road in the first round.

Although technically having a worse record than Linden McKinley, Highland has beaten tough teams like Northmor and Danville with ease boasting a 4-1 home record and winning the KMAC title.

These two league champions are now pitted against each other in a game that should go right down to the wire.
