Region 19

15 McDermott Northwest (5-5) at 2 Harvest Prep (6-2)

Led by star senior running back Jaylen Jennings, Harvest Preps has had some impressive wins this year including against Whitehall-Yearling and Columbus Academy.

Harvest Prep went undefeated in conference play winning the MSL-Ohio with ease and coming into the playoffs with some momentum.

These Warriors have the potential to play not only far beyond this game but beyond the region as the Division V finals bracket begins to take shape.

13 Columbus Bishop Ready (5-5) at 4 West Lafayette Ridgewood (9-1)

Bishop Ready did not start the season off successfully but has improved late coming into the postseason on a 3-game winning streak.

It will be tough for the Silver Knights to measure up to a tough Ridgewood team that has not lost at home this season, but a win in this first round would show a lot of grit on Bishop Ready's part and suggest that they could make it further into the playoffs.

11 Liberty Union (6-4) at 6  Columbus Academy (6-4)

After winning the MSL-Ohio in 2020, Columbus Academy fell short of the title this year.

However, the Vikings still have potential for the postseason especially in this first-round matchup at home.

Liberty Union has had a similar season to Columbus Academy except with fewer points.

The Lions have both scored and allowed an average of fewer than 20 points all year, so it will be crucial that they keep the score of this game against the Vikings low if they hope to win.

10 Minford (6-3) at 7 Amanda-Clearcreek (6-4)

Amanda-Clearcreek had some success during the regular season but failed to defeat elite teams like Teays Valley and Bloom Carroll.

Nevertheless, the Aces are favored in this first-round matchup against Minford although they have actually performed better on the road (4-1) than at home (2-3).
