Region 11

8 St. Francis DeSales (12) at 1 Granville (19)

Despite a fourth-quarter touchdown that cut their lead to a touchdown, the Blue Aces held their undefeated record and moved on to the regional semifinals.

While Granville had its lowest score all year, it still prevailed against a competitive St. Francis DeSales.

The Stallions struggled to truly reach the success of past years during this season, yet next year they will no doubt try to recapture some of that prosperity.

5 Bishop Hartley (17) at 4 London (24)

Only a touchdown separated the Red Raiders and the Hawks as London moved on to the regional semifinals.

Bishop Hartley had a 7-game winning streak snapped with the loss while London extended its winning streak to 10.

London will now play No. 1 Granville hoping to give the Blue Aces their first loss of the year.

7 Eastmoor Academy (6) at 2 Jackson (17)

While Eastmoor Academy's defense held strong, the offense had trouble getting going and the Warriors could not score more than a touchdown.

This lack of offense will be something that Eastmoor Academy's coaching staff will work on in the offseason as, with their skill on defense, it is possible for the Warriors to move even further into the playoffs.

14 Bellefontaine (20) at 6 Mount Orab Western Brown (50)

Bellefontaine's Cinderella story has been cut short by way of a Mount Orab Western Brown blowout by 30 points.

The Chieftains pulled off an immense upset in the first round defeating No. 3 Tri-Valley.

The same could not be true for last Friday as Bellefontaine's defense could not keep up with Mount Orab Western Brown's offense.
