Region 2

1 Marysville (12-0) vs. 2 Springfield (11-1) at Hilliard Darby Stadium

Marysville has blown past every team it has played since going into overtime with Hilliard Darby.

The Monarchs now return to the site of their closest game this season to play a team that might prove to be their most competitive adversary.

Marysville's defense, led by linebacker and Ohio State-commit Gabe Powers, has been nearly perfect in the postseason only allowing nine points per game in the first three rounds.

On offense, the Monarchs just as effective scoring 42 points or more in every postseason game thus far.

Springfield comes into Friday averaging 31 points per game, which is not unlike other teams Marysville has faced.

What makes the Wildcats different is that they have only allowed seven points on the board during the entire postseason so far.

With both defenses being so effective, it is likely that this will be a low-scoring affair despite Marysville's skill offensive players such as running back Griffin Johnson.

Region 3

Game of the Week: 1 Upper Arlington (13-0) vs. 2 Pickerington Central (12-1) at Westerville Central Warhawk Field

Upper Arlington is one of the only teams left in Division I that is undefeated through 13 games.

Following a 41-10 rout of No. 4 New Albany last week, the Golden Bears come into Westerville Central Warhawk Field Friday night with hunger to reach even further.

Pickerington Central comes into Friday with a momentum boost from defeating its cross-city rival Pickerington North 27-7.

The Tigers are now looking to pull off somewhat of an upset against Upper Arlington although both teams are even in many ways.

However, one thing not in debate is that this matchup should be one of if not the most exciting of the year in Division I as each team fights for a spot in the Final Four.
