COLUMBUS, Ohio -- With just three weeks remaining in the season, central Ohio football teams are bearing down as the playoffs approach.

Dublin Jerome and Olentangy Berlin are two of those teams competitively fighting for their spot in their conference, the OCC-Cardinal.

The Celtics (5-2) will travel to the Bears' (6-1) Olentangy Bear Stadium this Friday night at 7 p.m. for a game pitting two of the area's best teams against each other.

Olentangy Berlin currently holds the second spot in the conference while Dublin Jerome is just behind in third.  Both are in back of the 6-0 Marysville Monarchs.

Celtics coach Brett Glass said that while his players recognize the game's significance, he will prepare them just as he has done the entire season.

"The kids know we're playing a big game," Glass said. "Our kids are just preparing like they always do and ready for a great high school football environment."

Glass's team will have their work cut out for them as the Bears are undefeated at home this season.

On offense, the Bears have a dual quarterback setup with senior Dylan Reyes and sophomore Harrison Brewster. 

The two switch off at the position with Reyes taking a passing role and Brewster running more plays on the ground.

Reyes has averaged over 100 yards per game this season while Brewster leads the team in scoring with 11 rushing touchdowns.

Nori said that although the veteran Reyes knows the playbook better, Brewster has still been able to learn the offense effectively.

"Dylan's been in the program for four years so he knows the offense, the best," Nori said. "Harrison has come a long way with his knowledge."

Glass said that his defense will look to vary its approaches depending on which quarterback is in the game.

"We just got to marry our looks and make sure we know who's in the game," Glass said. "We're gonna have different calls to take away different things because you just have to execute."

The Celtics' offense has consisted heavily of passes by junior quarterback Zakk Tschiart to his favorite target, senior receiver David Adolph.

This season, Tschiart has lead the team and will hope to continue doing so during Friday's game.

Glass said that he wants his offense to react to what the Bears bring on offense mixing both rushing and passing plays.

"We can't you know pound our head against the wall if they're not letting us run," Glass said. "If they're kind of packing the box  we're going to have to throw it."

On Friday night at 7 p.m. at Olentangy Bear Stadium, the Bears and the Celtics will face off in what is likely to be one of the week's best games.
