Dylan Armentrout (5’9 HB/Bloom-Carroll/2024): While Armentrout can dominate the ground game, he’s a great playmaker as a receiver as well. The Bloom-Carroll senior rushed for 99 yards on 14 carries and caught two passes for another 80 yards including a 67-yard score. Armentrout ended the night with 179 yards in total.

Maxton Brunner (6’0 QB/Canal Winchester/2024): Brunner’s 144 passing yards came almost exclusively on big plays. He hit A.J. Young for 78 yards on the first drive of the game, and later found Karson Martino for a huge gain and a 30 yard score. Brunner’s impressive performance was enough to lead Canal Winchester to a 24-21 OCC-clinching win over Delaware Hayes.

Brayden DeVito (QB/Shelby/2026): Shelby had the best finish of the year when they knocked off unbeaten Ontario on the road with a hook-and-ladder walk off touchdown scored by receiver Issaiah Ramsey. Quarterback DeVito was outstanding once again in the stunning win as he threw for 338 yards and finished with four touchdowns.

Chris Fogan (5’11 HB/Bellefontaine/2024): Fogan led the way for Bellefontaine in a five-point win over Jonathan Alder last week. He rushed for 159 yards on 20 carries to go along with three touchdowns. Fogan has rushed for over 800 yards this season and averages 7.8 yards per carry. 

Ethan Grunkemeyer (6’2 QB/Olentnangy/2024): The Mr. Football candidate and Penn State commit has been arguably the best quarterback in Ohio’s senior class. Grunkemeyer has completed almost 70 percent of his passes for 2,331 yards and 27 touchdowns. Against Dublin Jerome, he threw for 426 yards and four touchdowns.

Diore Hubbard (5’11 HB/Gahanna Lincoln/2024): Hubbard was one of many offensive pieces who shined in Gahanna Lincoln’s 56-point outing. He took 18 carries, for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Hubbard is averaging over 130 yards per game this season. 

Cameron Jewell (6’0 HB/Jonathan Alder/2024): Central Ohio’s leading rusher was on point once again with his sixth game of 200 rushing yards or more. In week nine, Jewell rushed for 201 yards on 30 carries and ran in two touchdowns for Jonathan Alder. Hollywood became the first non-quarterback in Central Ohio to hit the 2,000 yard marker, and he did it on just 20 carries per game.

Anthony Jalloh (6’3 EDGE/Franklin Heights/2026): Jalloh has proven himself as a player who will develop quickly, and has an excited couple of years ahead of him. The Franklin Heights edge rusher was dominant once again as he finished last week’s game with nine tackles, four tackles for loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble. 

Nadir Langston (5’11 HB,S/Hamilton Township/2024): Langston was a key performer in Hamilton Township’s monumental win over Bloom-Carroll to capture at least a share of the MSL-Buckeye title. The running back rushed for three touchdowns and 115 yards on 24 carries. 

A.J. Miller (6’4 TE/Pickerington North/2024): Pickerington North tight end Miller has really taken off in his senior season. The UAB commit has already doubled his production from last year with almost 400 receiving yards and five touchdowns–four of which have come in the past two games. Miller scored on a 78 yard touchdown in the second quarter and then accounted for the eventual game-winning touchdown in the second half to help the Panthers improve to 9-0.

Kentrell Rinehart (6’2 HB/Bishop Ready/2025): Rinehart is closing in on the 40-rushing touchdown mark after going for five in just one half against Bexley. He averaged over 15 yards per carry and rushed for over 250 yards on just 16 rush attempts in another game where it looked like he was playing Madden 24 on rookie difficulty. 

Quan Rhodes-McKee (6’1 LB/Gahanna Lincoln/2024): Rhodes-McKee continues to be a force in Gahanna Lincoln’s front seven. The Lions’ leading tackler had eight stops, two tackles for loss, and a sack last Friday. Rhodes-McKee has 83 tackles on the season and averages almost 10 a game.

Giovanni Rufus (5’10 ATH/Franklin Heights/2025): Rufus is a two-way junior at Franklin Heights, but his best moments came on the defensive side of the ball. He came away with two interceptions, defended three passes, and didn’t allow a reception. Rufus also caught four passes for 80 yards as a receiver.

Drew Samsal (6’0 QB/Watkins Memorial/2026): Samsal put together one of his best offensive displays of the season, throwing for 308 yards and four touchdowns on just four incompletions. Samsal has quick feet in the pocket, but he gets the ball out even faster. He’s accurate while on the run and has shown improvement on deep ball throws throughout the season. Samsal was also able to find the end zone on a scramble where he took it in himself. 

Nate Severs (5’11 HB/Big Walnut/2024): Severs has been picking up big gain after big gain this season. The Big Walnut senior is averaging 7.8 yards per carry, and last week he averaged almost nine yards by rushing for 182 yards on 21 carries against Dublin Scioto. Severs recently reopened his recruitment, making him one of the most prized unsigned seniors at the running back position.    

Talil Spikes (6’2 DT/Africentric/2025): Spikes is one of many hard-hitters on the Nubian defense, who was able to shut down South’s offense and cause turnovers throughout their game on Thursday. Spikes had a total of 12 tackles, seven for a loss, a sack, and recovered a fumble to help seal the win.

Brennen Ward (6’3 QB/Gahanna Lincoln/2025): Ward bounced back from an early pick-six to have one of his best games of the season. The Division I prospect finished with 382 yards and four touchdowns, completing over 70% of his passes.

Jeremiah Watkins (6’1 WR/Gahanna Lincoln/2024): It was great to see Watkins back on the field after battling an injury all season. One of the best receivers in Ohio, Watkins returns to the field just in time for the homestretch of the season. In just his second game since August, Watkins caught three passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. 

Jackson Wiley (6’0 WR/Olentangy/2025): Wiley had one of the best performances of any wide receiver in the area with a near-200 yard receiving night on nine catches. Wiley also caught a beautiful touchdown in the corner of the endzone during another smooth-sailing night from the Braves offense.

Spike Woods (5’11 HB/Teays Valley/2026): Woods is on track to become one of the best running backs in Central Ohio in the near future. The Teays Valley sophomore looks like a rocket going through holes, and his footwork allows him to cut and glide around defenders. If that doesn’t work, he’ll lower his shoulders and dare you to slow him down one-on-one. Woods ran for 116 yards on 20 carries, caught two passes for 64 yards, and scored two touchdowns. 

Preston Wolfe (6’2 WR/Hilliard Bradley/2024): Wolfe only needed the ball six times to pick up 121 all-purpose yards and four touchdowns. If you put the ball in Wolfe’s hands, he’s going to make the most of each opportunity, and Friday night was no exception.

Josh Woods (6’2 QB/Hamilton Township/2024): One of several 300-plus yard passers in week nine, the Hamilton Township senior threw for 307 yards and a touchdown, completing 84 percent of his passes (27/32). Woods’ efficiency throughout the game, especially in the second half helped carry the Rangers to one of their biggest wins in school history. 

Dante Varrasso (6’1 WR,CB/Granville/2024): One of the best all-around athletes in Central Ohio had himself a night for Granville with 210 receiving yards on nine catches and a touchdown. The Granville junior also came up with an interception in a win over Licking Valley.
